The Beaumont Radio Control Club (BRCC) has been around for over thirty years. We've been through several name changes, changed fields, and members have come and gone. But through good fortune and a lot of dedicated volunteers, we have a strong membership base and a field to be proud of! Our field is located on Folsom Drive, between Major drive and Dowlen Road, in Beaumont Texas (see map below.) We have a Geotex® mat runway, and a covered pit area with work tables. On the flight line there are several starting/running stands. The club has plane and helicopter instructors that are eager to help, and training programs on most Tuesday and Thursday afternoons till dusk, weather permitting. We do several charitable events, a community Easter egg hunt, Boy's Haven air show, and the Toys-for Tots Fun Fly. We fly glow, gas, and electric planes and helicopters. So what are you waiting for, dust the old plane off and bring a friend to enjoy the camaraderie and good fun with the rest of us RC addicts. If you're new to the sport, or just curious about it, don't worry we all started the same way! Remember, todays beginners are tomorrows experts!
All visitors and spectators are always welcome.
We are a family organization and as such, no alcohol is allowed at the field.
